ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER
The Architectural Designer is responsible for supporting project teams in a collaborative studio environment, working on all phases of project delivery on a wide variety of project types. This role contributes to the creation of a project's comprehensive interiors scheme, including the coordination of interior architecture, project management, and construction administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the team in all phases of the interior design process, including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.

Skillfully manage all aspects of project design and delivery, including development of drawing sets, 3D modeling where needed, presentation graphics, quality control, consultant coordination, and project schedules.

Produce and maintain materials specifications and schedules.

Attend meetings with design team, contractors, architects, and clients.

Review pricing, materials, and customization for projects and provide design support for completion and execution of design concepts.

Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS
-
4+ years of experience as an interior designer and/or architectural designer, with a focus on residential interiors. Knowledge of commercial interior design process is a plus.

Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup. Proficiency in Revitisa plus.

Strong knowledge of the comprehensive design process [Schematic Design, Design Development, FF&E, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration].

Outstanding graphic presentation skills with proficiency in AdobeCreativeSuite.

Ability to focus on multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and initiative to be a proactive self-starter.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly.

Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills.

Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree, or higher, in Interior Design, Architecture or related field from an accredited school.
